A FEW THINGS ABOUT THE ARTIST

1. What do you do when you’re not making art? (Day job etc...).

I am a travel consultant and have been for the last 20 years. I also write poetry, Haikus.

2. Why do you make art?

Making art, any art, is a release of feelings. Expression is the opposite of depression. It is important to express yourself in a way that makes you feel whole and complete, inside out.

3. What inspires you?

My inspiration comes from within. My mind plays with the colours, and the brushes are the conductors of what I am feeling while painting.

4. What/who are your influences?

I love surrealism, Joan Miró, Dali, Picasso. My style might be different but still, their works have a big influence on me.

5. If you could meet anyone dead or alive who would it be?

Buddha.
